All Together Now
The "All Together Now" TV show, with a show format developed in the UK, ran in a number of European countries. The "All Together Now" format features a wall of 100 music professionals as judges. A judge votes by standing up and pressing the button in front of them. As a result, the backlighting in their individual booth changes instantly from red to yellow, and the press is being counted, adding up to the total score a singer achieves.
In the latter part of the performance judges can sign along by picking up the microphone. As the microphone rests on a switch, picking up the microphone opens the contact which signal is sent to an IoCore2. The IoCore2 opens and closes the audio mixers' microphone channels without any human interaction, avoiding crosstalk and feedback for maximum intelligibility.
IoCore2 played a key role in automating scores and audio- and lighting control. For example, the All Together Now show in Denmark alone 28 IoCores2 were used.
