Parnas Fountain lights up the Green Market, Brno, CZ
The Parnas Fountain in Brno, Czech Republic a 17th-century Baroque masterpiece, has been illuminated for the Christmas season. This stunning light installation is the largest in the city and will remain lit year-round. The recently renovated fountain, a centerpiece of the Green Market, shines with colorful lights, creating a magical atmosphere, thanks to the work of the VISUALOVE Studio.

The Parnas Fountain is a significant cultural landmark in Brno. It was designed by renowned architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach and has been a beloved symbol of the city for centuries. The illumination of the fountain highlights its intricate details and adds to its historical significance.

The festive lighting scheme includes a variety of colors and effects, creating a captivating display. Visitors to the Christmas market can enjoy the illuminated fountain, which is a major attraction during the holiday season.

"The fountain is equipped with intelligent lights that we control remotely with the Visual Productions CueCore3 lighting controller. It is possible to set countless modes, change color tones, or set the intensity of the light. The lights are placed around the entire perimeter and at the top inside the fountain, so that the monument stands out as much as possible," said Jan Machát, Ph.D., from the VISUALOVE Studio, which is also responsible for other installations in the South Moravian metropolis. These include, for example, the illuminated rafters of the renovated Church of St. James, the Festival of Planets Brno on Kraví hora, and the illuminated water tanks on Žlutý kopec during the Prototyp festival.
