Are you using cuelux or cuelux pro?

I assume you are using CueluxPro, as the title of the thread says 'Cuecore' with music.

You can do this by using the software Qlab. Unfortunately this software only runs on Apple devices.
With this software you can send OSC commands to cueluxpro, or use SMPTE Midi Time Code.
You can also send commands from cueluxpro to qlab to start music, or start the timecode qlab sends to cueluxpro.

I am sorry but as cuelux is not design to create stand alone lights show there is no easy solution to do it...
But i already did it once, so here is the "technic"!
first you need an audio player you can control via midi: ex virtualDJ
then you need to download loopbe, this is a virtual midi interface
in cuelux in the midi options set loopbe as midi out interface
in virtualDJ set loopbe as midi in interface
So now each time you do something on cuelux there is a midi message sent to your audio player.
So just  set the VirtualDJ midimap to start playing when you push whatever cuelux button and so it shoud work!
good luck :D
